Today...

...I sat in a clinic for three hours while a social worker and a doctor decided whether to send son 1 to hospital. I'm not sure if it is called sectioning where a child is involved, but that is what it amounts to.

They concluded he could stay at home.

Oh my. That must have been extremely painful for you. I'd love to know more. I hope things will be well for you and your son.

Take care, Crystal x

Huge hugs to you, Cathy - sounds really nasty stuff. Hope things are as okay as possible at home for you all.

Oh you poor thing - I had to suffer that with my grandmother.
When I realised the three of them were coming, I called a friend and we beat off the professionals by not letting them into the house.

Must have been a horrible time. Poor, poor you. I've had experience of that too and in our case it was really the only option for effective treatment. Difficult either way. I hope things are ok.

Thanks everyone. It has been a weekend of trying to remove potential dangers and keeping a close watch, but I think he is a little better now and will be seeing his keyworker again tomorrow.
